On Tuesday 27th April P2 travelled to Castle Espie in Comber. Although the temperature was freezing we had a brilliant day! John, the Educational Officer, had lots of activities for us to do. We began the day by feeding the ducks. Then we went pond dipping and looked through a huge telescope to see the different types of water bugs. Then we headed to the shelter of the forest to learn about mini-beats and their habitats. We then took part in a ‘smelly pot’ challenge to see who could create the most interesting perfume! It was a brilliant day and provided us with a rich learning experience which we have re-created in our playroom.
