A child has special educational needs if they have a learning problem or disability that make it more difficult for them to learn than most children their age. They may have problems with schoolwork, communication or behaviour.
At Knockbreda we aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which gives every pupil the opportunity to experience success in learning and to achieve his/her full potential and which acknowledges individual pupil needs, abilities and different learning styles.
At Knockbreda we have a caring and committed staff who work together for the benefit of every child… ‘The strength of the team is each member. The strength of each member is the team’
Through working in partnership with parents, Knockbreda Primary School seeks to provide a welcoming, happy, secure and stimulating learning environment in which every pupil thrives and is valued.
Knockbreda prides itself in promoting a caring, family atmosphere and an inclusive ethos where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. We provide an integrated environment for our pupils, welcoming and valuing children from all religions, cultural and social backgrounds.
