Capacity: 16 max.
Football is played during the first two terms of the school year. Boys and girls from P5 to P7 are welcome to participate. The school team plays in the local district football League which encompasses schools from South Belfast. In addition to the eleven-a-side league there are 7-a-side and 5-a-side competitions.

The Multi-Sports programme will include skills, games and matches for the following sports; Football, Dodge-ball, Uni-hoc, Tag Rugby, Golf, Tennis and others Further, we hope to offer a performing arts option including various forms of dance, drama and musical theatre.
2pm- 3pm for P1-P3 children and 3pm-4pm for P4-P7 children

Netball Club is for girls in P6 and P7. We meet once a week for practice in the playground and play lots of matches and participate in two tournaments throughout the year

This term, this will be on a Wednesday in the P2 classroom This club is open to P4 and P5 pupils with a maximum of 12 (This will change after Christmas to a Thursday for P6 and P7)

Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net and open to boys & girls in P5 to P7

Cross country running is a sport in which teams and individuals run a race on open-air courses over natural terrain such as dirt or grass. This club is open to P5 to P7. Trials for this club on Thursday 8th September during school hours. Miss Briggs will be in touch about the trials.

This club will be on a Thursday until Easter. It will be open to P4 and P5. It will be held in the P7 classroom. There will be a maximum of 16.

Capacity: 12 max.
This club will run on a Wednesday until Easter. It will be open to P5 to P7 It will be held in LC1. There will be a maximum of 12.

Miniversity is for P4-7. The lesson plans are designed specifically for children and cover topics such as Keyboard Skills, Touch Typing, Internet Safety, SCRATCH Programming, Windows Movie Maker, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft PowerPoint with a big emphasis on Careers and Presentation Skills.

On an afternoon you will find a range of musical tuition in school for pupils in P4 and above. We offer violin, cello, drums, flute and clarinet lessons. Every child receiving music lessons is a member of our school orchestra.
EA music service teachers provide small group lessons to interested pupils. If interested speak to Mrs McCormick.

Knockbreda Primary School is delighted to be able to provide a wrap around care service to parents and carers from 8am to 6pm. Early Morning Club is available at £1 per day and does not require pre-booking. More details are available on request from the school office. After School care is provided by Sleepy Hollow who have full access to school facilities.
